Hi, I’m Raina!
I’m a Connecticut-based therapist who works with women navigating anxiety, perfectionism, and major life transitions.
Many of the women I work with appear capable and put together on the outside.
Internally, they’re overwhelmed.
Self-critical.
Second-guessing.
Quietly exhausted from holding everything together.
If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
Why I Do This Work
I’m passionate about supporting women during seasons of change— the moments when identity shifts, expectations feel heavy, and self-doubt is hard to ignore.
Whether you're navigating your 20s, career transitions, relationships, or early motherhood, these seasons can feel unsettling.
Therapy can be a space to slow down, make sense of what’s changing, and feel more steady as you move through it.
My Approach
Therapy with me is collaborative, warm, and grounded in practical tools.
I integrate:
DBT skills to strengthen emotional regulation
Nervous system–informed techniques to reduce overwhelm
Compassion-focused work to soften the inner critic
Insight-oriented exploration to understand patterns at their root
My Background
I am a licensed therapist in Connecticut with training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
I received my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University.
I am currently completing advanced training in perinatal mental health aligned with standards set by Postpartum Support International.
My work is grounded in research, but my style is human.
If You’re Considering Reaching Out
Starting therapy can feel vulnerable— especially if you're used to being the strong one.
If you’re curious about working together, we can begin with a free 15-minute consultation to see if it feels like a good fit.
